THE NEWBORN RESEARCH & REVIEWS, the official journal of the Romanian Association of Neonatology, was founded in 2023. Through the combined effort of the editorial stuff, authors all over the world and the whole Neonatologists in Romania – THE NEWBORN RESEARCH & REVIEWS becomes gradually a prestigious scientific journal that provides a high quality in terms of scientific content, but also the editorial and graphic aspect, both through an impartial process of selection, evaluation and correction of articles (single blind peer review procedure), as well as providing editorial, graphic and printing conditions at the highest level.

In order to increase the scientific standards of the journal, special attention was paid to the improvement of the quality of the published materials. THE NEWBORN RESEARCH & REVIEWS publishes general papers, original papers, review articles, clinical studies, case reports and presentations, letters to the editor etc. on various Neonatology areas – up-to-date reviews and researches.

A team of reputable medical professionals in the field of Neonatology and all related medical specialties is involved in a rigorous peer review process that complies with international ethics and quality rules in the academic world.

The journal publication frequency is 4 issues per year plus supplements, print and electronic editions.
The journal is published in English.
Expect on average 7 weeks from submission to publication.
All accepted articles are published online first.

Increasing the visibility of THE NEWBORN RESEARCH & REVIEWS is achieved not only through the exchange of articles with other publications and the collaboration with similar national and international bodies, but also through the dedicated website where the latest published articles are posted, offering the opportunity to be informed in real time.
